Red Dead Redemption 2 Gameplay Trailer: 11 MAJOR Changes You Need To Know
11. Changes To Deadeye
Every shooter has a slow-motion mechanic these days, so it may be difficult to recall just how good Red Dead Redemption's was when it released in 2010.
Dubbed 'Dead Eye', the mechanic enabled players to slow down time in order to let off a quick succession of shots, whether that be to take out a group in quick succession, to disarm just one enemy, or to take out your frustrations on a loathsome duelist. Either way, it proved to be a brilliant feature, and Rockstar have upgraded it for the sequel.
Now, it'll level up in stages. Players will also be given the added bonus of being able to pinpoint weaknesses in their enemies thanks to a handy red glow, although why they wouldn't realise that it would hurt to get shot in the face, as the image above so eloquently demonstrates, we'll never know.
