4. Dead Eye Is Revamped

Another staple of Red Dead gameplay is Dead Eye, the slow-motion targeting system that in the previous game, had three tiers of additional options whilst aiming.

Here it's been amended even further to let you target specific organs and weak spots of creatures and enemies. Dead Eye is the key to "clean kills" on animals that can then be sold for maximum profit, but it's tied to a segmented meter that you expend to pull-off a shot like this.

You accrue segments or "cores" by resting or sticking to a decent diet, though their use in gunfights is clearly a major bonus.

However much it's going to bother you to literally live a life as Arthur Morgan to then get the most out of gameplay, will vary case by case.
