Resident Evil 3 Remake: EVERY Major Change & Missing Feature
A LOT has changed in 20 years.
This might be the best time to be a fan of Resident Evil, with 7 breathing new life into the future of the franchise, and now the many Remakes introducing a new generation to Raccoon City. Though unlike the Resident Evil 2 Remake, 3 seems to be more divisive with players as it has split most of them down the middle.
RER2 did make some key changes from the original in held up there as possibly one of the best in the franchise, but RER3 went even further when it comes to rewriting events and the story of Jill’s Last Escape.
From characters, to locations and even the order of events, Capcom has really remixed Resident Evil 3. Now not all are negative as the original 1999 game was far from being perfect itself so some of the remix or additions are more than welcomed.
For the purpose of this list, we will be diving into story and location changes, rather than how the game plays etc.
