Resident Evil 6: 10 Reasons We Should Give Chris a Chance

6. Limited Demo Scope

True enough, a gaming demo is a great indicator of what the final product will be like (at least it should be), but it€™s not the be all and end all. After all, a great movie trailer can still end up luring you into a sh*tty movie and vice versa. One thing that€™s clear from Resi 6€™s demo is that its scope is massively limited; hell, it's not even clear exactly what the hell is going on throughout really, at least in terms of story. My immediate thoughts are that the demo has been geared around the action, and brushes almost entirely over the story (and honestly, story is such a huge part of the RE franchise, especially in the later games). So, without much at all in the way of story or character development, in theory, what you see in the demo might not be exactly what you get from the overall experience. I€™ll be buying the game for sure, and refuse to solidify my judgement based only on the demo. You€™ve heard the phrase €˜don€™t judge a book by its cover€™ right? At least wait until the first round of reviews are out.
