Resident Evil 6: 10 Reasons We Should Give Chris a Chance

7. Completionism

As a life-long Resident Evil fan, I€™ve played every game to its finish. The original Resident Evil drew me in faster than a moth to a naked flame, and Resi 2 turned what was fascination into borderline addiction. I must have played through that second game at least five or six times by now. And I€™ve played all of the other; some, obviously, I€™ve appreciated more than others, but at the end of the day, each one serves to add another piece to the overall Umbrella shaped picture. And I€™m not the only completionist out there. Gaming over the years has bred millions of us, all unable to relax unless we€™ve consumed and completed everything a title or a franchise has to offer. Sure, I was a little underwhelmed by the demo, but I€™ve been underwhelmed by movie trailers before for films I actually ended up adoring (the original Taken, for example). As a completionist, I€™ll be buying Resi 6, if for nothing else so that I can say I€™m up to date on Resi€™s rich, complicated lore.
