Resident Evil 6: 10 Reasons We Should Give Chris a Chance

4. On a Global Scale

Each Resident Evil game so far has served to increase the scale of the initial zombie holocaust, just like any good zombie franchise should. Case in point: Romero€™s zombie saga. We begin in Night of the Living Dead in a house that€™s under siege; we progress to a shopping mall; next it€™s an entire underground complex €“ a bastion of humanity in a sea of undead; finally, it€™s an entire city and at that point, we know the world is truly doomed. Resident Evil has followed this model to the letter, and in Resi 6, this undead threat is truly on a Global scale. Scope like that is why I personally play video games; to escape the fact that life isn€™t like this. I€™m not a hero, or a commando, or an agent. I€™m just a dude, sat in front of a computer screen. But when I play Resident Evil 6, that won€™t be the case. I€™ll be out there, saving the world like the supreme zombie destroying badass I yearn (perhaps too much) to be. And to be perfectly honest, I can€™t wait.
