Resident Evil 6: 10 Reasons We Should Give Chris a Chance

3. Are We Too Discerning About Graphics?

One of the underwhelming things about the demo were indeed its graphics; they didn€™t really seemed to have evolved very much at all from the previous game, and in this climate, that€™s perhaps as big a sin as clunky game play. However, looking back over the reviews for Resident Evil 5, one thing jumps out at me repeatedly; most considered it to be one of the prettiest games on the market at that time. This got me to thinking. Are we too discerning about constantly updating graphics? Are we too spoiled? If I somehow managed to crack time travel and took the Resident Evil 6 demo back to the eighties to show it to one of that decade€™s gamers, would they even survive the experience? Would they not start vomiting uncontrollably, and having seizures at just how realistic it actually looks? Would they even believe it was real? Look back at the demo. The graphics certainly aren€™t bad, not even by the harshest of standards. They€™re amazing in fact, they€™re just not that much more amazing than they were in Resident Evil 5. Does that mean we€™re in for a terrible time? I personally wouldn€™t say so.
