3. Gun Control - Critical Hit Points
Following the last point, while ammunition may be limited you're still going to have to rely on guns far more than some would prefer. Fortunately for you, there's a way to kill two lickers with one bullet or - in other words - to preserve ammunition while keeping yourself extra safe. Everyone knows that a head shot will do far more damage than one to the arm. One doesn't have to be a specialist to understand why.
Our Tip Spend a lot of time in the shooting range; you can't just go off firing all willy nilly. Resident Evil 4 did a great thing when it introduced a new aiming and firing system and you'd do well to heed to its teachings. It's imperative that you're able to aim for critical points. The head, the knees, and the heart are the three that will benefit you the most. When facing any sort of creature, alive or undead, a shot to the head will surely yield immediate results. Unfortunately, some of your rivals may indeed be alive and you may want to keep them that way. Therefore, a shot to the knee or lower leg will most likely be enough to put them out of commission while keeping your conscience clean. Head and knee shots won't always work, however. Those pesky Umbrella Tyrants tend to be able to withstand a lot more damage than you can dish out. Fortunately for you they also tend to have weak - sometimes exposed - hearts, and a few shots to that vital organ should give you the upside in any battle.
Side Note While the three critical points we discussed will indeed be helpful they aren't the only places you should fixate upon. Learn the benefits of other critical hit points such as the hand or something within your immediate environment. They could come in handy.
