9. The Weskers (Albert, Alex & Jake)

The overarching supervillain of the series until the fifth major instalment, Wesker is a name that every Resident Evil fan knew and loved. Now, much like with the case of Jill, Resident Evil does need to move on, though some loose ends still linger when it comes to Project W and that bloodline.

Now let’s just make this perfectly clear, Albert Wesker is super dead, probably the most dead of any Resident Evil character. He was dropped in a volcano and then blown up with rocket launchers by Chris and Sheva, but thanks to events after this he could possibly return.

Alex Wesker, the only other survivor of Project W is thought to be dead after RE Revelations 2, but at the very end, it is hinted that she managed to somehow transfer herself into a young child, Natalie.

If she can do this, what is stopping Albert from having Jake Muller as a backup? Because after all, Albert would have a son just to use as a backup meat suit. He’s that type of guy.

As far out there as this one is, Jake should at least show his face down the line, if not to set up later games.
