The man who popularised naming yourself as a weird symbol that couldn't be pronounced in any language known to man has an extensive library of classics behind him, though careful selection will be required to find the ones that best fit the Rock Band mould. Regardless, his vocals should certainly provide a hefty challenge and it would not be unfair to say that some of his songs could prove to be deceptively difficult to play, especially for those who don't know his work or know him as simply a pop artist. Unfortunately, it is pretty well-known that Prince turned down an offer to appear on Guitar Hero a little over five years ago, expressing the opinion that people should be picking up a real guitar rather than simulating the experience. With a little luck, his attitude towards the genre may have softened in recent years. It if has, Harmonix could score a major coup over their rivals by getting him into Rock Band 4. Key Tracks - Purple Rain, Kiss, I Could Never Take The Place of Your Man.
