5. Bruce Springsteen
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZD4ezDbbu4 When it comes to the greats of American music, The Boss can never be too far from the discussion. His examinations of the everyday trials and tribulations experienced by the working classes, both in his hometown of Philadelphia and the country at large, have made him one of the most enduring artists of the last few decades and his shows regularly sell out within minutes whenever they are announced. Though he has made a limited appearance in the Guitar Hero franchise, Springsteen's music has never been bought to the genre by Harmonix, marking him out as yet another artist that sorely needs to be included in the company's most famous franchise. While there may be a little difficulty in transferring some of his songs across to the established template thanks to the sheer volume of instruments used by The E Street Band, and none of his tracks are likely to go anywhere near the top-tier of songs in terms of difficulty, there can simply be no denying that Springsteen's music is the sort that makes such games a joy to play. After all, it's not always about the difficulty of the track. Sometimes it's more fun to simply play along to great songs and that's what The Boss offers in abundance. Key Tracks - Born to Run, Born in the USA, Jungleland.
