One of the many things that makes Sea Of Thieves great is the emergent player interactions.

With other loot-hungry crews on the seas, you never know when you'll bump into another ship or what their intentions are. They could sail past with nothing more than a wave and a shanty, or they could open fire.

And with the release of an update as big as this which features one of the most beloved film franchises (not to mention announcing at E3), it shouldn't come as a surprise that the news of A Pirate's Life has caught the attention of a lot of people.

While Rare have yet to release any official figures about how many new players have took the plunge for A Pirate's Life, they revealed in March that the game has achieved a staggering 20 million players since launch.
