2. Mass Effect 3
When the genre RPG is mentioned, the Mass Effect series immediately comes to mind. These games are also known for their fun battles and great characters. I find the story to be the selling point for these games. Unlike the other games on this list, Mass Effect 3 is not open world. Although, the locations that we do see are visually stunning. The game's story is great because of how much you add to it. Over the course of all three Mass Effect games, you get the sense of your character and you really feel the great story. You'll get the same sense that you did when fighting your first dragon in Skyrim. If you loved being the Dragonborn and helping the Blades send dragons back to Oblivion, then you'll get engaged in the exciting story of Mass Effect. I enjoyed every minute of the game, and I think that lovers of Skyrim would too. I recommend playing all three games in order and playing with the Save File Transfer feature. If you liked the engaging story from Skyrim, then this is the next game for you.
