1. Fallout 3
After the nukes hit and the rubble cleared, the adventure began. In Fallout 3 we play as whoever we want. You get to make your character any way you want and get to live out your life as you did in Skyrim. This game is the equivalent of a post-apocalyptic Skyrim. It came from the same makers of Skyrim and the formula is the same: An open world-full of stuff to do. Although it gets hard at some points (such as simply crossing the Capital Wasteland), the pay off is great. Once you get the main quest over with, and unlock the power-armor, the game becomes perfect. It's something that you have to work for, but it is worth it. Just like in Skyrim, you start off with nothing but a sweet-roll reference, but end up building yourself an empire. I recommend this game over the series's newest addition (Fallout: New Vegas) because of the overall gameplay and missions. While they are both great games, Fallout 3 takes the cake. If you loved everything about Skyrim, then this is the perfect next game for you.
