Skyrim Remastered: 10 Crucial Things Fans Need To See

2. Co-Op Multiplayer

Tamriel Online
Bethesda/Siegfre

You may be thinking I'm a deluded fool to think that Bethesda will ever include multiplayer functionality in one of their big RPGs, but what if I told you that PC modders are to this day working on multiplayer mods for Skyrim, and actually doing it with a reasonable degree of success?

The huge amount of community support for mods like the online Tamriel Online, and the couch co-op Skyrim Together and Nens co-op mods shows that there is a demand for such a feature to be added, and given that Skyrim isn't the technical trailblazer it once was, surely it wouldn't be too demanding to squeeze it in. If solo modders can do it, then surely Bethesda can too?

The prospect of having a friend - or even a party - along for Skyrim is one of the great gaming fantasies; gallivanting around together as a Dark Brotherhood assassin duo, fighting over loot and double-teaming dragons (with appropriately scaled difficulty, of course).

There's no way anyone wouldn't want this, right?
