Spider-Man PS4: 32 Secrets, References And Easter Eggs You Must Find

11. The Avengers

Insomniac

Although the Empire State Building is still the highest tower in Insomniac's version of New York, there's another competing for aerial dominance. Avengers Tower, formerly Tony Stark's base of operations, is up and running during Spider-Man's eighth year of crimefighting, and it's just as cool as you think it is.

But it's not the only reference to Earth's Mightiest Heroes in the game. Dialogue alludes to Iron Man and Captain America being around for a long period of time (Peter mentions that his friends all grew up wanting to emulate those heroes), and you can actually visit Avengers Mansion, which looks to have been recently vacated by the team, going off material printed in the Daily Bugle.

Sure, the game might not feature any cameos, but it's a great addition all the same and helps make New York genuinely feel like Marvel's own.
