5. Silver Sable As An Ally
It's safe to say that one of the only big criticisms towards Marvel's Spider-Man is how underused Silver Sable was.
The City That Never Sleeps went to some lengths to try and put her in the spotlight more and it was definitely effective. Silver Lining features Sable as the main focus of the story, and finally has her bury the hatchet with Spider-Man.
The only downside to the situation is that Sable reveals that she is going to travel back to Symkaria to try and help her people.
However, that doesn't necessarily mean that Sable will be completely out of the picture. It doesn't make much sense to establish a working partnership between the two if she wasn't going to have a future role in some way.
At the very least, this means that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will have to feature some brand new enemies for Spidey to go up against. No Silver Sable, no Sable thugs.
