Spotted in one of the game's earlier trailers and explicitly referenced in Game Informer's exclusive coverage thereafter, Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum will indeed form a part of Insomniac's Marvellous rendition of New York.
While the Sorcerer Supreme himself hasn't been spotted yet, the inclusion of the locale serves as confirmation that the character does exist in this particular version of the Marvel mythos. That's exciting to think about no matter your interest in the Stan Lee-Steve Ditko creation, and with Mister Negative set to bring some supernatural moves to the table, the chance for Strange to feature - at least in some capacity - shouldn't be off the table.
It might just be a cameo, or something much bigger instead. Either way, the fact the Santorum is around should add fuel to the fire that Insomniac's title is more than just a simple Spidey game.
