Spider-Man PS4: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best

18. Harry Osborn

Harry isn't physically in the game, but appears as part of a side mission, explaining his intentions to make New York a far greener and safer place to live through audio messages left for Peter, who he asks to carry on his work on his behalf while he is "in Europe".

It's a great touch to have Harry act as a friend from a distance, and makes the side missions feel a lot more important to Peter Parker, and therefore more important to the gamer. Without this emotional tether, these side missions could easily be dismissed by gamers and ignored, but they are far more engaging knowing that Harry is asking you to complete them to honour his late mother.

He also stars in the best post-credit scene the game has to offer, one that sparked a huge conversation about what exactly is happening to Harry, and what his role in the next game might be.

This mouth-watering reveal and the emotional weight of it upon both Norman Osborn, and inevitably on Spider-Man himself, is a tantalising tease, and takes Harry's impact on the story from minimal to being one of the best moments of the whole title.
