Spider-Man PS4 Sequel: 10 Things We Want To See
6. More Diverse Side Content
Though there is a healthy amount of side content to tackle in the game, it's fair to say that most of it ultimately boils down to repetitive fetch-questing.
As wonderful as it is to swing around New York City, after a point it really feels like more effort should've been put into making this side content both meaningful and interesting.
The same's true of the crime missions, which spawn from an incredibly small, generic pool, and once you've spent dozens of hours playing the game, you'll really start to feel the grind when it comes to tackling them.
This is a genre-wide issue with open-world games, in fairness, and precious few can prevent their supplementary material from feeling a bit samey and, well, lazy.
As such, you definitely shouldn't expect miracles from Spider-Man 2 in this regard, but a greater number of missions types with a far wider set of parameters that exploit Spidey's full skill-set? That's a totally reasonable ask.
