5. Lego Star Wars Sequels
I'm sorry to say this but if you hate Lego, you have no soul. Either that or you accidentally stepped on a piece of it while barefoot and looking for the light switch in the dark. I've
rambled on at length before about why the Lego games are so good so just imagine that I've offered some generic but still heartfelt praise about the series in general so we can move onto the Star Wars side of things. With Disney probably looking to cash in on the Sequel Trilogy as much as possible, a Lego adaptation of Episodes 7, 8, and 9 at some point should be an obvious move. Of course this means it wouldn't get a release until Episode 9 is made but that just allows more time for the graphics and game mechanics to be improved. While we're waiting on that, the Lego Star Wars game that should take priority is at least one sequel to Lego Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The first game featured 20 levels from the first and second seasons of the TV series it was based on. Which means there are still three seasons' worth of episodes to adapt including Season Four's surprisngly deep Darkness On Umbara story and the long-awaited Darth Maul story arc from Season Five. The Clone Wars may be derided by many as nothing but a cheap children's programme but it's perfect for a Lego Star Wars adaptation. And with renewed interest in Star Wars thanks to the plans for the new trilogy, a child-friendly game adaptation to keep interest going until the new films would be a smart move. Also, a prominent character from the show's later seasons was included in the first game as an extra that was unlockable thorugh a cheat code. Whch implies that some groundwork has already been done on possible sequels.
