Star Wars 10 Most Powerful Uses Of The Force

7. Burning Down The Temple (The Last Jedi)

One of the many reasons older fans found the scenes of Yoda fighting so ridiculous is because the original trilogy painted him as one of those guys who were so damn powerful they could reduce a city to ashes by wiggling his ears or something.

Fortunately The Last Jedi came along to not only return him to being a puppet with Frank Oz's hand up his bum, but also return him to his vaguely deity like status by controlling the very forces of nature itself.

When Luke tries to burn down the small temple found on his little island, Yoda appears to him to not only finally beat him over the head for not evolving past the boneheaded kid he met on Dagobah, but also to burn the temple down himself with a bolt of lightning from the heavens themselves.

It's one thing to generate lightning from your own hands, but to pull a Storm and command the climate of the planet you're on to do your dirty work for you is quite another.
