7. Takodana Map Confirmed

A very recent posting on EA's official Star Wars Battlefront 2 page updated the game's description with a few key details - one of the biggest being the confirmation of Takodana; the planet where Maz Kanata's base is housed in The Force Awakens. Comprised of Maz's castle and a luscious, intertwining surrounding forest, it's entirely possible this map will be rather like the Jabba's Palace DLC from EA's first Battlefront; letting us explore a mix of interior and exterior.

In addition, the more in-depth list includes "Theed, Starkiller Base, Yavin, Mos Eisley, Endor and Hoth", which already sounds like far more variety than what we had before. A notable highlight is Theed, the location for Episode I's epic Darth Maul fight.

HOPEFULLY, if DICE really want to knock it out the park they'll include the option to trap players using those weird red shield 'things' that once separated Darth Maul, Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon. Imagine being locked in that final chamber with a high-level player and being forced to duel to the death with your teammate watching.
