4. Reloading Has Changed (Active Reload?)

A combination of both cooldown andreloading? I don't know about you, but what can that be, other than an Active Reload?

Pioneered by Gears of War, 2015's Battlefront included the idea of watching a small on-screen HUD icon to determine the best time to reload - with failure leading to a longer waiting time. It sounds like EA have addressed even this minor grievance - as how many times did you lose a fight online to forever-cooling down weapons? - "doing some improvements" and commenting that the new mechanics are "kind of" like the old.

Interesting, the older Battlefront games forwent a reload button in favour of ammo drops and an auto-refill whenever you'd expended an entire cartridge. I'd hope EA aren't carrying this strange feature forward, but whatever's happening, it's a change from how reloading and handling weapons was back in 2015.
