Star Wars Battlefront 2: 10 Playable Heroes It Must Include
5. Qui-Gon Jinn
"The ability to speak does not make you intelligent."
If Darth Maul has already been confirmed to appear in Battlefront 2, Qui-Gon Jinn surely isn't too far-fetched.
Qui-Gon Jinn has mostly been shunned since his appearance in The Phantom Menace, mostly due to his death at the end of it but also because of how poorly received the film was. Despite this, Qui-Gon plays such an important role in the story of Star Wars that he really deserves more screen time.
As the master of Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon plays one of the most important roles in the whole of the prequel trilogy. As an individual, Qui-Gon is also one of the coolest Jedi, mixing in a great sense of justice, wisdom and quick wit.
In terms of fighting skill, Qui-Gon Jinn wasn't given as good of a representation as he deserved. Being able to hold his own against Darth Maul's double Lightsaber was impressive, only falling down upon being separated. This Lightsaber skill should come into play when controlling him in Battlefront 2, as should his great control over the Force. His ability to sense Anakin's power shows how in touch he is with the Force.
Qui-Gon Jinn doesn't really get enough recognition for his importance to the story of Star Wars. Maybe Battlefront 2 can go some way to changing that.
