3. Anakin Skywalker

"You underestimate my power!"

Yes, Anakin Skywalker has technically already appeared as Darth Vader. Despite this, fans are eager to get the chance to play as his younger self, complete with his aggressive Lightsaber skills and increased mobility.

Anakin Skywalker plays perhaps the biggest role in the whole of the Star Wars universe. His choices throughout the Original trilogy and the Prequel trilogy shaped the events that took place, from choosing to join Palpatine to choosing to defy him. Whilst his portrayal in the films wasn't amazing, his appearance in the Clone Wars made him a much more likeable character. It's this iteration that should be shown in Battlefront 2.

As great as Darth Vader is, his lack of any motor ability makes him more of a tank character than anything else. Whilst Anakin's anger and aggressiveness should be seen in his character, it should also be accompanied by a greater sense of speed and control. Revenge of the Sith showed that Anakin could use Dark Side powers, some of which should appear here to show his mix of Dark and Light powers.

Anakin is greatly important to the story of Star Wars, which should be shown by having him appear in Battlefront 2. Just don't put him on a sandy map.
