4. Embrace The Prequel Era

Look, it's going to have to happen at some point. Whether Disney reboot and 'remake' the prequels to remove the dark cloud that'll otherwise forever hang over the franchise, OR they take the best elements from that time period - proliferation of the Jedi, political clashes, clone armies and tons upon tons of droids - the prequel era is a major grey area yet to be fully addressed.

Once again, Pandemic got there first, implementing everything from Coruscant to Mustafar and even Naboo - complete with playable Gungans - in their first sequel. The difference is, these days Star Wars is bigger than ever, and these annual releases are landing in tandem with whatever ongoing Episode/spin-off is in cinemas.

This somewhat eliminates the 'need' for prequel scenarios, but there are far too many truly awesome battles from those three Episodes to not factor into matchmaking eventually.
