8. The Campaign Spans The Star Wars Timeline

A mere afterthought in Pandemic's two entries, DICE are apparently putting in a lot of effort into making a competent story-mode. Like its predecessors, the next Battlefront looks set to include battles from both the Original and Prequel trilogies, with the added bonus of having Clone Wars segments as well as ones that prelude The Force Awakens too. The campaign itself will position players on both sides of the two conflicts, with The Republic & Separatists taking more of a back seat to the Rebels and Imperials during the Galactic Civil War. On top of this, iconic battles from the films are set to make an appearance as well, providing more opportunities for players to relive their favourite moments from the films. Fans of the Original Trilogy will be elated to hear that the predominant focus of the campaign mode will be on the Galactic Civil War itself, as the chance to partake in the most famous of Star Wars battles is an opportunity only the silliest would refuse.
