7. You Play As Characters That Feature In Episode VII

Though much of the game will take place far away from the events of The Force Awakens, rumours are saying that the main protagonists of the campaign will all have a role in the long awaited J.J. Abrams directed flick. Whilst doubtful that the characters featured will all have massive roles in the seventh Star Wars film, the fact that Disney have entrusted DICE with the responsibility of introducing these new personalities shows that they have faith in the project and more importantly, their ability to execute it. Not only does it demonstrate the confidence and support that the game is receiving (DICE were even allowed to visit pinewood studios in order to aid with game design), but also that the new campaign will have a much more 'human' element to it than the previous two. Though short on length in areas, DICE's campaigns have featured a truly memorable cast of characters in the past, as their heavy focus on emotional story-telling has trumped military clichés in most areas. Dice's approach is bound to work wonders on the Star Wars mythos.
