3. Space Battles
Like many others, I found it incredibly shocking that DICE omitted space battles from their own version of Battlefront. A game like Star Wars, where so many key moments of the series happened in space, just has to have space battles. "We want players to stay in the same environment we dont want players to fly off and do something over here" was the reasoning of DICE General Manager Patrick Bach for the omission of space battles, which many of us know, is a load of rubbish. Space battles were incredibly fun to play in Battlefront 2, with the game mode offering Space Assault. Granted, it was far from perfect, with the incredibly easy way of winning was simply boarding the enemy ship and wiping out its majority functions from inside, but you felt like a genuine war hero doing it. With the amount of hype surrounding the ambitious Star Citizen, the demand for a space flying simulation is clearly there. You could just about imagine the beauty of a space battle on this generation of gaming, especially with DICEs incredible attention to detail and graphics. Its definitely a feature that is sorely missed, hopefully it will make a swift return soon.
