Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order - 10 Things That MUST Be Included
7. Different Fighting Styles (And Lightsabers)
Seeing as how Jedi Outcast has already been brought up, it's time to mention its sequel, Jedi Academy. That game didn't just come with all the features of the aforementioned title, it let players customise their own character in a whole new way, including what robes they wore, what species they were, and even what kind of lightsaber (or lightsabers) they brought into battle.
The game had three principle fighting stances to choose from: light, medium and heavy, which were then influenced by how many lightsabers the player wished to use. Using two blades would would remove the heavy attack ability, while using a double-bladed lightsaber would necessitate a complete change in combat, with players able to use kicks while duelling.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with one lightsaber (some would say it's even preferable), but it would be pretty great to see Fallen Order's Padawan being given the option of using one, two, or even a double-bladed weapon in combat. Add to that the recent addition of the Crossguard lightsaber in The Force Awakens, and there could be four unique options to choose from come winter.
