Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order - 10 Things That MUST Be Included

8. Building Our Own Lightsaber

Plenty of Star Wars game have given players the ability to choose which lightsaber crystal or hilt they could have before embarking on their own journey, but only a few have given them the ability to fully build one from the ground up.

In the Star Wars mythos, creating a lightsaber is a big deal. Jedi have to find their own crystal and build the rest of the weapon themselves, to the point where it feels like an extension of their very being. It stands to reason, then, that the player should foster a similar connection to their own lightsaber in Fallen Order.

Of course, what kind of lightsaber that gets used is entirely determinant on whether Respawn opt to give the player agency over their character or whether the protagonist will be modelled in a very specific way, but even The Force Unleashed let players choose which colour blade they used.

Either way, given the title is said to start immediately in the wake of Order 66, would it not be a good idea to showcase the leading Padawan as they first build their lazer sword anyway?
