Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order - Everything We Know So Far

3. Third-Person Action-Adventure - Not A First-Person Shooter

Even before they formed Respawn Entertainment, the developers at the studio made a name for themselves with first-person shooters.

Creating the likes of Call of Duty 4 before they formed their new company and crafted both Titanfall games, the creatives have spent years making straightforward linear shooters, a style which they're switching up massively with Fallen Jedi.

Instead of a FPS, the game is being touted as a third-person action adventure, coincidentally the same genre which Visceral games were pursuing with their ill-fated Star Wars project a few years ago.

God of War 3's director leading the team seems to make more sense in this context, no doubt guiding the rest of the devs in creating a bombastic Star Wars action experience.
