Not only is the perspective and gameplay style going to be a change of pace from Respawn's usual style of game, but the combat itself is also going to be radically different. Though regular guns and blasters haven't been ruled out entirely, Zampella did confirm that the main mode of combat would be lightsaber battles.

To many fans, this will be all they need to hear. Ever since EA acquired the exclusive rights to the franchise fans have been waiting for their chance to play a story-driven game where they can jump into the robes of a Jedi Knight, something which looks to finally be happening.

Sure, playing as both Sith and Jedi in the Battlefront games is always fun, but those limited gameplay sections have never totally satisfied the craving fans have for a full-on lightsaber-focused Star Wars game.
