Tekken 7: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
1. Hwoarang
Though you'll have to delve into the game's customisation menu to retrofit Hwoarang with his more standard white training gear, the character himself is an exemplary fighter.
A great mix of being pick up n' playable, Hwoarang's blend of short punches, arching kicks and leaping attacks lets you close the distance and punish any opponent in seconds. From repeated kick combos and juggles to an easily-deployable Rage Drive, there's a steady ramp-up in complexity across Hwoarang's moveset that feels as though it always has something to offer, the more time you invest.
Where earlier incarnations meant it was far too easy for button-bashers to trigger his never-ending kick flurries, this refined version lends himself well to returning franchise fans, as well as those who put the time into mastering his entire moveset.
