Tekken 7: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
2. Jin Kazama
The longstanding 'protagonist' of Tekken, Jin has always been a fan favourite, though his moveset has taken many years to truly come into its own.
As mentioned back in the Kazuya entry, Jin would take on an entirely karate-influenced set of animations in Tekken 4, only settling on a good enough blend of the two in T5. Now in Tekken 7, Jin is just as playable as the last two instalments, throwing out fun-to-watch 10-hit combos, neck-wrenching grapples and one of the best balances of distanced blows, lows, highs and damage across the board.
He might not be the most technical of the bunch - though Tekken 7 does give him a fresh stance to unleash five new moves from - but Jin is the poster boy for the franchise for a reason.
