The Elder Scrolls VI: 10 Perfect Locations Fans Haven't Considered

3. Morrowind

Elder Scrolls Morrowind
Bethesda

Like Skyrim, Morrowind has been the setting for a previous Elder Scrolls title, and, like Skyrim, it might seem like a bit of an odd choice for the setting of Elder Scrolls VI €“ possibly even more so, because at least the new game could be a direct successor to Skyrim.

However, unlike Skyrim, it€™s now nearly fifteen years since Morrowind came out, which means a whole new generation of gamers has arrived on the scene. This younger blood is unlikely to remember the game that came out in 2002 €“ so why not set the next game in an updated Morrowind in 2017, showing us what€™s happened to the province in the time that we€™ve been away? Not only would it appeal to the newer fans, but it would definitely hook the older fans with that nostalgia factor.

Also, despite how good Morrowind was, not many would disagree that it hasn€™t aged particularly well €“ which is why a lot of people, myself included, are very hyped about the Skywind project. The least the place deserves is to be brought into the modern era, and let people experience the mystique for themselves, complete with modern visuals.

A lot can change in 15 years €“ returning to Morrowind would certainly prove that.
