The Game Awards 2018: 9 Rumours & Leaks That Must Happen

5. Red Dead Redemption 2's Future

Death Stranding
Rockstar Games

While Red Dead Redemption 2 confidently rides to the top of the VGA's voting boards and has a surging Online player base, fans likely haven't taken the time to think about what the future of the game will look like. After all, the game is still relatively fresh, having just come out under a month and a half ago. However, that doesn't mean fans are wondering what Rockstar has planned for the game beyond just Online content drops.

Gamers likely haven't forgotten how Grand Theft Auto V's Online took clear prominence over anything else, leaving the game with no single-player DLC to speak of. Since the first Red Dead Redemption had the excellent Undead Nightmare, fans would surely lose their minds if Rockstar were to confirm a similarly-expansive addition to their single-player experience. The developer does have an excellent history of making story-focused DLC after all.

This is probably the least likely of anything on this list, as Rockstar has never been a fan of making appearances at events like this. However, if they feel like being extra generous, surely some sort of teaser or confirmation wouldn't be too much to ask, would it?
