The Last Of Us 2: 10 Secret Locations & Easter Eggs You Missed
5. The Blacksmith In Jackson
Early on in the game, you first take control of Ellie and are allowed to roam the snow-covered streets of Jackson. Eagle-eyed fans spotted a look-a-like of the game's composer, Gustavo Santaolalla during their poking and prodding, but there's one area a lot of people completely bypassed while following Jesse.
This helpful tip was recently brought to fans' attention by reddit user Ok_Strawberry7683. Before heading into the Tipsy Bison Bar, check the right side of the road for the “Blacksmith” shop, who is being a gentleman and giving away seven free parts (2.35 timestamp in video).
Parts are a limited resource, needed for upgrading your equipment, so picking up every one you find is a must if you want to get a tactical advantage. Trophy hunters will need as many as they can to unlock the gold trophy "Arms Master", achieved by upgrading all weapons.
Before you step out into the Jackson streets though, have a look around Ellie's room if you didn't already in your first playthrough. It's filled with throwbacks to the previous game, plus many other cool references.
