The Last Of Us 2: 10 Things Fans DON'T Want To See
1. Joel Getting Away With His Crimes
Joel doomed all humankind. There is NO getting around that. We LOVE Ellie, she was easily one of the absolute best kid characters in gaming history when we first met her. So we didn't necessarily want her to die. But on the other hand, the virus was ravaging what remained of civilization and if it had any hope of recovering, they NEEDED a cure.
What Joel did was wrong, plain and simple. Understandable, but wrong. And while it wouldn't exactly fit the overall aesthetic of the story for Joel to be brought by a court or some other thing, The Last Of Us 2 needs to end with some kind of confrontation between Ellie and Joel when she finds out what he did.
We're not even asking for her to kill him (though we wouldn't necessarily be opposed). But definitely some kind of reaction once she learns that she was lied to by a man she trusted like a father. This is something that the fandom in general has been waiting to happen since completing the previous game. And leaving it out, above all else, is the one thing fans do NOT want to see in The Last Of Us 2
