The Last Of Us Part 1 Review: 7 Ups & 2 Downs
6. Bonus Features Add Replay Value
There are other additions included in The Last of Us Part 1, but these mostly amount to slight - if appreciated - bonus modes and extras.
The multiple different rendering modes are fun enough - I got a particular kick out of the 8-Bit graphics and sound modes - while cheats like slow motion add some replay value to the game, even if you've completed the title multiple times. Weapon and character skins are likewise a neat touch, especially bringing over the costumes and character models from The Last of Us Part 2.
It is a shame that this stuff isn’t unlocked from the get go though, as speaking as someone who has played this campaign to death, being able to indulge in new character and weapon skins from the off would have been welcome.
