1. It Has Multiple Endings
As repeated on multiple occasions, McMillen has kept a lot of the details about The Legend of Bum-bo under wraps, particularly in regards to the story. One thing we have been promised is that there will be multiple endings.
While early lets plays have shown Bumbo's first ending in which he looks inside a mysterious chest to find another Bumbo, it will be interesting to see how the conclusions play out once all 4 initial characters are unlocked.
The number of endings has not been revealed yet, so we can assume it's likely far more than just 4. With each ending, Bumbo, and also likely Isaac, will have their stories expanded and built upon, providing even more answers (and likely even more questions) for McMillen's fascinating universe.
