A relic of the gods, its power is limitless (though variable). Evil doers lust after it, and in the wrong hands it can be a weapon of untold destruction - but only the pure of heart can truly own it. The triforce is the most powerful, and as such the most sought after, item in all of Hyrule, and is the basis of much of the Zelda series.

A set of three blessed triangles left by the goddesses who created Hyrule, it is the true force of the land, and whoever is able to lay their hands on it will become virtually unstoppable. It grants the wishes of whoever seizes it, good or evil. It is an item with the potential for unlimited good or unimaginable evil.

There is a catch, though - should the holder not possess in their heart an equal balance of the components of power, courage, and wisdom, the triforce will split into its three component parts and scatter across the land. There’s a lot at stake when it comes to grabbing hold of the divine shape, so it’s best just to stay away unless you know what you’re doing.
