The Walking Dead Game: 10 Reasons It's Better Than The TV Show

9. Humorous

TheWalkingDeadClementine Although the game goes to some very dark places, (I would argue it goes even darker than the show at times) it still manages to throw in a few good laughs here-and-there. Lee always has a witty remark, and some characters seem to be placed just to shine some positive light on the extremely dark situation. Whether it is batteries that only Lee can figure out, or a typical cute-kid response to a question about a salt-lick block, there is no shortage of moments to put a smirk on your face. The show has its moments as well, but they are few and far between. Of course I recognize that the game was only five episodes, and the TV show has now gone 30-plus episodes, you have to have some story development, not just an hour-long comedy monologue. Obviously, the show is not a comedy, and we aren't watching it for the laughs, but you have to have a little humor. What else is there in a zombie apocalypse?
