The Walking Dead Game: 10 Reasons It's Better Than The TV Show

8. Shocking

the walking dead the game 5 The game started out with Lee speaking all seldom in the back of a police car. Fast forward five episodes, without giving away spoilers let me just ask you, were you expecting the situation to end up like that? The game seemed to shock and surprise you, not just with every new episode, but all throughout every new episode. Several shocking cinematic moments and major turning points in the story happen throughout every individual episode, which makes waiting for the next more excruciating. (If you really want to be surprised, don't watch the previews at the end of each episode that basically spoil it all.) Of course the TV show shocks, if it didn't it wouldn't have held interest this long. The first season was shocking and unforgettable, but the second season...come on, we all knew who was stepping out of that barn, did it really need to take a whole season to get there. Luckily, it seems the show has learned from its mistakes because I have been shocked from quite a few season 3 moments. Still, there is a lot they could learn from the game. A lot can happen in just one short TV hour, make it happen!
