The Witcher 3 Hearts Of Stone DLC: 5 New Details You Need To Know About

2. You'll Be Able To Recruit A Crew Of Break-In Artists

Another vaguely detailed feature of Hearts of Stone that got my attention is that you'll be able to recruit a crew of break-in artists. Now, this may just relate to a single quest for Geralt to undertake, but every time I hear about recruitment being featured in a game, I get fond visions of the heist gangs in GTA V, or the pirate crews in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Could it be that CD Projekt RED is preparing some kinds of missions that you'll be able to carry out repeatedly - like the heists of GTA V? Maybe you'll be able to send a hand-picked crew off on thieving missions while Geralt gets on with his own contracts, or perhaps you'll be able to join your gang of miscreants on missions to plunder vaults or keeps? While the Lone Wanderer-style missions that typify The Witcher 3 are a great fit for Geralt, it'd be interesting to see the game add some kind of gang recruitment mechanic. It's worked brilliantly in other games, and there's certainly a hint that it could feature here.
