These Video Game Items SUCK! (On Purpose!)

So one thing you'll quickly notice about Path of Exile, despite it being a bloody brilliant game, is that a hell of a lot of equipment seems to give big buffs to fishing. Now as a shrewd Gamer TM you might be thinking to yourself "Ha Ha! I see what's going on here, fishing must play an integral part in this game at some point, maybe there's some hidden treasure to be had, or maybe a secret boss fish fight that I'll absolutely grill if I grab all this fishing finery!"

Well before you go getting your tackle in a twist my friend let me lay something on you, I'm not sure how to break this to you, but....there is no fishing in Path Of Exile. Like....at all...it's a totally in joke by Grinding Gear Games done to wind players up and have a giggle at them.

Yeah I know you're dissapointed, and I definitely know of a fair few players conned by this red herring of sorts (*me*), but it's true these items have literally no use becausae the bonuses they give literally don't impact the game in any way.

And they got us all, hook line and sinker.
