5. Smoke > Vortex Shield

In most of the videos prior to the release of the Beta and game, any footage containing a Titan vs Titan seemed to showcase the Vortex Shield as one of the Titan's stand out abilities. There is even an achievement (which is easily acquired) for collecting a projectile with your vortex shield that was fired from an enemy's vortex shield. Plus, there isn't anyway to deny that it looks cooler than cool collecting enemy rockets and bullets in a cosmic whirlpool before firing them straight back return to sender style. However, if you don't fancy looking all that cool, why not try replacing the Titan Ability with Electric Smoke, a much more dour experience yet one that can get you out of a sticky situation in one of two ways: a) As mentioned before, you are so busy fighting a couple of Titans that you don't have time to pop out and take care of the pesky fella riding you like a cowboy. Fear not, pop electric smoke with a simple click of 'LB' and they will be jolted off your back like a flapping fish aboard a tug boat. b) An opposition Titan has the upper hand in a battle with you, hit the smoke and dash backwards for some much needed respite/healing time. If they decide to run through the smoke, they will slowly take damage too. Combine this with the absolutely devastating (and slightly over powered) nuclear explosion after ejecting and you could easily leave your enemies as a mere scorched memory vaporised within a smoky haze.
