Titanfall: 12 Tips To Help You Survive Getting Owned Online
6. Smart Pistol - How And When
Most people who have been watching Titanfall grow from infancy to Xbox One killer app have been interested in the fantastic Smart Pistol. Plenty of gamers have been comparing it to other video game weapons of legendary status such as the Halo Pistol or Half Life 2's Gravity Gun . Whilst the justification and fandom isn't totally unfounded, it is very silly to dismiss this as a 'noob' weapon as it takes a lot of skill to master and become efficient against human opposition. It may lock on for you, but when facing anything with a human mind behind it, getting three separate lock on's for a kill is a lot more difficult that just blasting them manually. The smart pistol shouldn't really be used at any time expect at the start of a round. The amount of BOTS it can clean up with ease will work wonders, but when coming up against Human players you may want to consider changing your load out. If you want to stick with the smart pistol maybe you cannot get past how badass you look then consider the fact that it also has manual fire. Whilst not as strong as the single head shot, you may find yourself face to face with an enemy who can unload two clips into you in the time it takes for you to get your required lock on and chances are this means you will be dead. Don't be afraid to fire it down the sights yourself whilst it struggles to lock on. That being said, the Smart Pistol is an excellent creeper weapon, running behind someone and getting your lock on before dispatching them with proficiency never looks anything but badass.
