Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 Remaster: 10 Things You Need To Know

6. The Iconic Soundtracks Are Included

Rage against the machine

Even if Spider-Man doesn't make the cut, there's always Rage Against The Machine.

Not only is that one of the best sentences ever, it's also true. Vicarious Visions confirmed that they've secured the rights to almost every tune that was on-disc for THPS 1 and 2. There are a few unnamed exceptions to this, but they claim there's enough to stir the nostalgic pot and make everyone happy.

Classics from The Vandals, Dead Kennedys, Primus, Goldfinger and Suicidal Tendencies will hopefully make it from the first game. As for the second, does anyone really want to live in a (remastered) world that doesn't include the aforementioned RATM's 'Guerilla Radio', 'Blood Brothers' by Papa Roach or 'Bring The Noise' by Anthrax and Public Enemy?

Other aural delights from the likes of Powerman 5000, Fu Manchu, Lagwagon, Millencolin and Consumed will also entice. The old Tony Hawk's games had music that was era defining, and it was important that Vicarious Visions didn't tamper with that side of things.
